Characters - King Matthias & Co

Leader and oldest virion of the Murray Pack.
He's also just a dad who wants his kids to thrive and live without any danger from immune cells, so he tries everything to make it basically impossible for cells to reach his nest. Matthias hates humans, so next to being a good father and king to his virions, his main goal is to wipe out the human species.

Oldest son of King Matthias's first litter.
Might be the most mature one of Matthias's son. He can often be seen together with his younger litter-mate, Scratcher, and he sometimes functions as the voice of reason to him. He likes to use words from street language, such as 'yo', 'wassup' or 'g', but never when in conversations with his father.

Middle son of King Matthias's first litter, as well as his leading heir.
Scratcher is the sadistic, arrogant and easily angered hothead of the triplets. He's is obsessed with his looks, so he can often be seen grooming his membrane proteins. He also believes that he's the most beautiful virion of his kind.

Scratcher is homoromantic-bisexual.

Meech is very sweet and friendly, yet he can also be really stubborn and rebellious if it comes to his father's ideals and rules. He knows that his kind causes disease, but he rather wants to heal. He literally feels misplaced within the Murray Pack, but feels like he's at home whenever he hangs out with his red blood cell bestie, Mitzi.

Meech is aromantic-asexual.

King Matthias's trusty majordomo.
All cells rank the lowest on the list, but because of her given function as majordomo, Damaska is in fact the highest ranking among the Murray Pack's hijacked cell members. Her task is to command fellow cells to keep SARS-CoV-2's nest clean and to protect it from non-hijacked immune cells. She also functions as the king's advisor and she does daily reports. During the time the lead-heir was still too young, she even temporarily took King Matthias's place whenever that was needed. Even though she normally has no authority over the virions, the virions are willing to listen to her advice when battling the immune system and thus work as a team with her and the other cells. She's extremely loyal to King Matthias and the other virions.

When hijacked, Damaska (as well as the other hijacked cells), adopt a nasty personality and behavior towards non-hijacked cells, which is similar to how SARS-CoV-2 behaves. But this is purely due to being under King Matthias's telepathic influence.
